Organization profile

Organization profile

This group focuses on understanding, controlling and emulating self-assembly processes in biology, from a multi-omics, multi-scale approach, leveraged on theoretical, experimental and computational resources, and a transdisciplinary team, in order to modulate structure and function relationships in matter that contribute translational solutions to universal problems, particularly in human health (diagnosis and treatment of chronic or acute diseases), nutrition, climate change, and bio-energy.

Research fields

1.- Translational research in food, nutrition and health 2.- Translational research in diagnosis and treatment of diseases 3.- Translational research in materials (hard and soft self-assembled) from the nanoscale 4.- Translational research in environmental sustainability and agricultural productivity.
