This group seeks to develop projects in which the use of statistical theory and techniques provide information that expands the understanding of phenomena associated with different areas of knowledge, including statistics itself. On the other hand, it seeks to develop investigative links between statistics professionals and professionals from other areas of knowledge, provide alternative solutions to real problems based on statistical techniques and theories, and generate knowledge from data analysis and modeling.
