This group is dedicated to the generation of applied scientific knowledge, which allows improving or complementing actions for the conservation and restoration of Colombia's ecosystems, and which allows us to enhance the use of our natural resources to make better use of them. Likewise, it seeks to contribute with high-quality scientific information to the conservation and biotechnology goals of the country and the neotropics.
