This group is dedicated to the study of chronic non-communicable diseases, human genetics and congenital defects, health education and innovation. physiopharmacology and bioprospecting. The group carries out multidisciplinary health research, involving several basic sciences around specific problems in the area, seeking to establish collaborative ties with other internal or external groups that have common interests. In addition, it involves different intervention alternatives in the community, generating new knowledge of regional, national and global impact, promoting formative research for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
