The Gescca emillero was born in the second semester of 2015 as a proposal by the Faculty of Nursing and teacher Diana Achury Saldaña with the purpose of strengthening the research skills of students to improve the professional practice and care of adults with cardiovascular diseases through the implementation of interventions with a participatory and educational approach that include prevention, early detection and the empowerment of patients to achieve self-care and achieve better adherence to treatment.
