The Gescca Group was born in the second semester of 2015 as a proposal of the Faculty of Nursing and professor Diana Achury Saldaña with the purpose of strengthening the research skills of students to improve the professional practice and care of adults with cardiovascular diseases through the implementation of interventions with a participatory and educational approach that include prevention, early detection and empowerment of patients to achieve self-care and better adherence to treatment.
