Elitros is the seedbed born from the student work group on Arthropods "Elitros" founded in 1998 and which for decades has generated dozens of scholars of these organisms at the PUJ.It is a group that integrates students, graduates and externs in activities related to entomology and that are the support group of the Entomology Laboratory of the Faculty of Sciences and the Entomology Collection of the Javeriano Museum of Natural History.
