Organization profile

The Seedbed of Ecology and Conservation of Amphibians and Reptiles - SECAR of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana - PUJ was born from the Javeriano Student Group of Herpetology, which was formalized before the Dean of the Environment in 2013. Subsequently, SECAR was officially constituted as a Research Seedbed before the Vice-Rectory of Research for the third period of 2016, with the objective of promoting among undergraduate students, in their interaction with graduate students (Masters and Doctorate), the strengthening in the formulation and development of research projects and the writing of scientific articles on ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles in Colombia
