It integrates students mainly from the Biology, Ecology and Bachelor of Biology majors interested in understanding what environmental, structural and spatial characteristics determine the presence of species;and what characteristics the species have to persist in each place.What happens to the environment and species when changes occur due to anthropogenic intervention.And what are the consequences of these changes on the function of ecosystems and the services they provide.Theoretical training in ecology and functional ecology is acquired;and in field, laboratory and computational techniques with wild mammals, mainly bats.
