Ecology and Territory: Ecological consequences of the transformation of ecosystems at multiple spatio-temporal scales and management of transformed landscapes

Organization profile

The seedbed in Landscape Ecology in the Anthropocene, from its interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary nature, is an initiative that contributes to strengthening the research knowledge of undergraduate and graduate students in understanding the interaction between spatial patterns and ecological processes of the landscape, a fundamental challenge in conservation and in making correct decisions for its management. This seedbed will allow the members to better face the current academic and professional challenges in ecology.Likewise, the hotbed will be able to provide its members, and especially future professionals, with additional skills to understand the causes, mechanisms and consequences of spatial heterogeneity, providing practical tools that allow them to increase their research training.
