The seedbed is aimed at students with an interest in the study of organisms called biological control agents for the control of pest insect populations in crops, as alternatives to include in their management. He focuses especially on projects and work with entomopathogenic nematode species and their bacterial symbionts, parasitoids or fungi, for the control of pests in crops of economic interest such as corn, potatoes, coffee, etc. The seedbed encourages the generation of new ideas, and collaborative work with other seedbeds of the research group or other groups, seeking to innovate and that the knowledge produced does not simply remain on paper, but can be put into practice knowing the reality of the country.
