The clinical CIO hotbed develops research around clinical practice and teaching in dentistry, seeking to contribute to the reduction of the prevalence of cavities and periodontal disease, from person-centered care and the understanding of these pathologies in addition to the study of dental materials for clinical use.The clinical CIO hotbed seeks in the near future to promote interdisciplinary work from research, working with psychologists and educators integrating the systemic approach to patient care, favoring the change from curative thinking to thinking that involves psychosocial aspects of dental care from the training of human resources in clinical settings.
