The CFT seeks to make an explicit proclamation of the Gospel to all students at the University (PEJ 40, 42) and, in this sense, is responsible for the theological training credits that must be taken by all students at the University. It also offers courses related to pedagogy and the teaching of theology and religious studies from a Catholic theological perspective.
The CFT, in concerted action with the University's faculties, researches and teaches students theological issues related to the problems specific to these disciplines, while also providing them with other unique contributions that can help solve the various problems facing the country and the world.
