ÁTICO is the acronym that designates one of the most outstanding initiatives of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Since September 2010, the arts, technologies, information and communication converged in an enclosure that today is called Centro Ático The Faculties of Arts, Communication and Language, Architecture and Design and Engineering of the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota sought to share knowledge and experiences collaboratively in the same space The Centro Ático houses in a seven-story building of approximately 8,000 square meters of construction, laboratories for film, television, video, radio, video games, experimental animation, architecture, music, sound, design, digital creation, an auditorium and a creative room The Centro Ático is a space for innovation, training, creation and experimentation; it seeks to build social knowledge in the interaction with new technologies In the academic scenario and in the creative industry, it seeks to promote digital culture Today, it is part of the ecosystem of teaching, learning and innovation, and offers students from multiple careers one more reason to choose the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana as their home of studies
