The Bibliometrics and Science Evaluation Student Research Group, approved by the Faculty of Communication and Language Council in 2018, belonging to the Department of Information Science at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, is linked to the Information Science, Society, and Culture Research Group. Taking into account the importance of bibliometrics as a tool for planning, evaluation, and decision-making, the group is a space for work and debate on relevant aspects of bibliometrics. Through research, methodological developments, and academic activities, we contribute to the training of students, graduates, and those interested in bibliometric topics. Additionally, we also provide support to the university community on the work topics of the group.
