Arrochelados: Semillero de Estudios Afrocolombianos is a space for dialogue and research in which various thematic lines related to the history, culture, politics and contemporary struggles of the Afro-Colombian population are addressed.It brings together teachers, graduates and undergraduate and graduate students, who come from different disciplines and work fields and are united by a common interest in research and critical analysis of the main historical processes of the Afro-Colombian diaspora, intellectual movements and black literatures, Afro-Colombian leadership and social movements, aesthetic resistance, black geographies, diasporic territories and migrations.A central purpose of the seedbed is to reflect, from diverse interests, on the tools and strategies necessary to overcome inequalities, racism and discrimination.
