Systems

Each of the systems engineering laboratory spaces was designed to be a living learning space under the premise of sharing knowledge and responding to the challenges demanded by the community in general. These laboratories provide support to the topics of algorithms and programming, enterprise software architecture, forensic security, cybersecurity, collaborative work, distributed systems, networks, high performance computing, management of large volumes of data, simulation, interactive environments, visualization, among others. In these spaces our students and the academic community in general can explore, train and work on each of the topics exposed to propose and create creative solutions to a wide variety of situations in the context of teaching, research and service.

Las diversas áreas académicas, así como los grupos de investigación propios del Departamento de Ingeniería de Sistemas y de la Facultad de Ingeniería están abiertos a desarrollar proyectos de consultoría e investigación. Particularmente, el Centro Javeriana CyberPro está en la capacidad de ofrecer servicios de consultoría de acuerdo con las necesidades específicas de organizaciones públicas y privadas. Este centro nace como producto de la evolución y desarrollo en el campo de la seguridad digital, que le ha permitido a la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana posicionarse como un referente en el área de nuevas tecnologías en América Latina.
