Description

The Distributed Systems Laboratory is a space with 5 collaborative work areas, each of which is equipped with a cluster of high-performance computers. In addition, there are 10 job posts available for students and researchers. This laboratory is designed to carry out learning and research processes in the areas of distributed systems, high-performance computing and technologies for handling large volumes of data such as cloud computing. Thanks to the use of this computing infrastructure, undergraduate and graduate students can put into practice and understand the concepts through workshops and the development of projects. On the other hand, research groups related to these topics can carry out experimental assemblies and new developments in problems that involve distributed platforms, applications with a high level of concurrency, middleware and simulation of complex systems among others.
