Equipments Details
Description
Model: Sheartrac II. The equipment can be configured to perform various soil tests, such as direct shear, residual shear, direct simple shear, cyclic direct simple shear, and consolidation. These tests allow the mechanical properties of the soil to be determined, such as shear strength, and key parameters for geotechnical design to be obtained, including the angle of internal friction and soil cohesion. The test is carried out by applying a normal load and a shear load on the sample, while measuring the displacement on the shear surface.
